Gatsby was relinquished to Free Flight in 2020 after the pandemic, among other factors, made it difficult for her owner to continue caring for her. She is sweet and playful with people she trusts, but it takes a lot to gain that full trust. She also tends to be nervous in new situations, so patience and gentleness are a must. In her previous home, Gatsby lived with another cockatoo, so she could potentially do well in a home with other birds after a careful introduction.
