Tom Struble, Board President, comes to Free Flight after working in Banking, Global Trading and Software Development.
He is a recent early retiree from a global banking software firm as a Managing Consultant with 18 national and international clients. He served as a Project Manager, Implementation Manager, and Business Analyst. Well-traveled, Tom worked in three countries (Canada, U.S. and Mexico) and in three languages.
He and his wife Mary have 6 parrots under their roof, half of them rescues. He divides his time between his extended family, driving off-road and coastal sailing. He lives in and volunteers to the City of Carlsbad. Work at the city included assignments in Public Works, Personnel, Community Coordinator's office and Property & Environmental Management.
Tom holds a B.A. from California Western University and an M.B.A. from California State University Long Beach emphasizing Consumer Behavior and New Product Adoption.
Tom cut his non-profit teeth at the 'Crescenta-'Canada YMCA.
