Outreach at Free Flight

Our unique tropical outdoor setting allows birds and people to interact. The birds thrive on human interaction. The visitors enjoy the opportunity to handle the birds and learn about them from our Free Flight staff. The list of schools and groups that visit Free Flight is long. Free Flight was recently the site of an Eagle Scout project. Individuals come in and talk to our staff about parrots in general or their own bird and any related issues. We have also conducted formal training seminars on site. Free Flight is also the site of our annual fundraiser.

One of our goals in the coming months is to improve our meeting area to better facilitate formal and informal classes, training and discussion groups to support our public education efforts on site.
