Companion Bird Adoption

Both the happiest and saddest days at Free Flight are when one of our residents goes to a "Forever Home". We place about 15 donated birds a year. In the last 6 years we have had 2 come back.

Our success in placement is based on the resocialization of a bird in our yard, that is, daily interaction with our staff and visitors. Our success is also due to careful evaluation and screening of the prospective adoptors by our management staff.
